Women’s Retreat Info: September 9th- 11th 

Only $30.00 per person (price goes up on Sept 2nd to $40.00)

Limited to first 20 women who register.  No Kiddos (even Babies) are allowed at The Springs retreat Center)

Arrival on the 9th- You can arrive on the 9th after 5:30.  PLEASE PLAN TO CARPOOL.  The parking spots are limited.  Only four cars can park by the cabins, the rest will have to be parked by the Gathering Space.  DINNER IS ON YOUR OWN FRIDAY NIGHT.  Please pack dinner or grab something on the way.  Once you get to the cabins the closet stores/ food places are 30 min away.  Snacks will be provided Friday night but it will not be enough to substitute for a meal.

THE CABINS Each cabin has 5 beds and sleeps a maximum of 5 guests. There are 3 sleeping areas, a bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with 2 twins and an open loft with 2 twins. 

 -  BED & BATH: Bath towels, soap, shampoo and all linens, blankets and pillows are provided. Please bring your own towels for Hot Tub use (year-round) OR for swimming/fishing in the lake (seasonal).

-  KITCHEN: Each cabin is equipped with a 2-burner stove, a microwave, crock pot, toaster, coffee pot, pots, pans, dishes, knife set, utensils, refrigerator, and dishwasher.  There is no oven.  Kitchen supplies include coffee filters, creamer and sweeteners, salt and pepper, cooking spray, paper towels, foil and soap. The nearest grocery is in Oldenburg, Batesville, or Greensburg, 25-30 minutes from The Springs.  There is seating for 6-8 at the kitchen tables. 

- There is a gas grill for community use in the courtyard area outside the cabins. We have a small and a large fire pit for guest use.  Firewood is provided as well as fire starters and a lighter. 

- Parking is limited.  We encourage you to include carpooling in your planning.

THE GATHERING SPACE- This is where our lessons will be and possibly some meals. The Gathering Space, down the hill from the cabins, can accommodate up to 20 guests.  There is a long serving counter with outlets. The Gathering Space has electric heat/air conditioning, an electric fireplace, and a deep sink.  The gathering space include chairs, 5 round tables and 2 -8' long rectangular tables. There is seating for up-to 20 guests.  EQUIPMENT includes a sound system with microphone and speakers, a video projector and screen, and an easel white board. We have the ability to watch a movie if someone wants to volunteer to organize this.  The gathering space there is a microwave, a large crock pot, a refrigerator, a full-size cooktop/oven, an outdoor gas grill, two 12-cup coffee pots with filters, a 40-cup coffee urn, a hot water pot, pitchers, cold drink dispensers, and cooking utensils, and silverware.  We also have the option of eating outside the cabins as there are 4 picnic tables located there.

Meals: Each person will be divided into a group who will prepare a meal together.  Breakfast Saturday, Lunch Saturday, Dinner Saturday and Breakfast Sunday.  I will send meal teams later this week.  Each team will be responsible for buying the ingredients of the meal and bringing them to the retreat, cooking, serving and cleaning up that meal. You will only be assigned one meal for the weekend to help prepare.  Please work as a team to meal plan and you may want to prep the meal as much as you can before you arrive.  If you are on a special diet please bring food to accommodate your needs.
